Gail is a native of Long Island, NY. After she and her husband retired, they moved to Virginia to be closer to their adult children. This next chapter in their lives was both exhilarating and scary, rolled up into a big ball of “what the hell are we doing?”

Throughout her life, Gail has had somewhere around 30 different jobs. That number is probably higher, but some jobs were so fleeting that she can’t recall them all. Her primary occupation during her life was teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade social studies.

Like many people trying to stay safe at home in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Gail started to go a little stir-crazy. She began writing to pass the time and discovered an unexpected love for it. From the true stories she tells here to her fiction novels, she has found joy in creating.
